A Yamaai é um restaurante de comida japonesa em São Paulo. O movimento é bom no horário do almoço, mas o ticket médio é baixo. Nosso desafio era aumentar esse ticket médio o mais rápido possível.

Criamos uma série de desenhos animados com humor inteligente, inspirada na cultura japonesa no Brasil. Esperávamos que o público não apenas achasse aquilo divertido, mas também ficasse com vontade de comer sushi.

Nosso público era formado pelas pessoas que trabalhavam nos prédios comerciais da região. Por isso, sabíamos que os displays de TV dentro dos elevadores eram a melhor mídia para inserir os vídeos e alcançar as pessoas justamente quando estivessem com mais fome.

No final de cada vídeo, um mapa personalizado mostrava a melhor rota daquele local até o restaurante.

Yamaai is a Japanese restaurant in São Paulo. They have good attendance during lunch hour, but a low average ticket. Our challenge was to increase their average ticket as fast as possible.

We created a witty humored animated cartoon series that resembles the japanese culture in Brazil. We hoped that the public would not only find it funny, but would also crave for some sushi.

Our target was the people working on the office buildings in the surroundings. That's why we knew that the TV displays inside the elevators were the best media to insert the videos and get them when they would be the hungriest.

At the end of each video, a customized map would show the best route from that location to the restaurant.
